My summer
slimdown isn’t
going according to plan.
Much of my
free time is
spent traveling
with my kids for sports, so I’m extremely fitness-adjacent, but that’s not
the same as exercising, it turns out.
I’ve also been binge-watching past
seasons of Wicked Tuna, in which salty
New England fishermen dangle lit
cigarettes from their mouths while
reeling in 8-foot “butterballs,” and
then dockside buyers examine tail
cuts for color and fattiness to determine pricing. That part gets me thinking about my own marbling.
