《经济学人》（英语：The Economist）是一份英国的英文新闻周报，它在1843年9月由詹姆斯·威尔逊创办。《经济学人》并非专门研究经济学，也不是学术期刊，而是一本涉及全球政治、经济、文化、科技等多方面事务的综合性新闻评论刊物，着重于对这些议题提供深入的分析和评论。

对于同学们来说，最重要的还是《The Economist》是所有英语考试的题源，包括高考英语、CATTI翻译证书、MTI考研、托福、雅思、专四专八、四六级、考研英语、GMAT、GRE等等。
